independent expert medical, chiropractic, psychologic and
dental opinion throughout the country but concentrating on
the midwest. To this end IMS has contracted with expert
providers spanning 25 medical specialties.

IMS recognizes that while a
brokerage organization can offer valuable services, it has
nothing to offer without quality providers.
All providers at IMS are
independent contractors. IMS is not part of a larger HMO
or PPO which could exert pressure to compromise an
examiner's independence. To help maintain independence and
integrity, IMS does not have any of the providers sign
exclusive contracts. The opinions expressed by the
examiners are, in fact, their own.
IMS can serve as a liaison
between clients and providers. It can help with provider
selection and serves as a resource for medical/legal
issues for both clients and providers. |
